This website is operated by the International Year of the Bats 2027 team on behalf of GBatNet. We keep the data we collect to a minimum.
What we collect
- Event submissions: event details and an organiser contact email, used only to review and publish the event and to contact you about it.
- Enquiries: anything you send us by email.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages visited, country, device). This sets cookies only if you accept them in the cookie banner.
What we don’t do
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing. Event organiser contact emails are never published.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete data we hold about you by emailing gbatnetscicomm@gmail.com.
This policy will be updated when the online shop opens, as payments are handled by a third-party print-on-demand provider.
